We are happy to return with news regarding the contest “Student of the Year” organized by the “Angela Hondru” Romanian-Japanese Studies Center. As you may already know, the event takes place annually, within the “Haru Urara” Gala (part of the Japanese Culture Days festival), the grand prize being a place in the Cultural Program in Japan organized by our Center.
This year’s special situation did not allow us to organize the festival and the anniversary gala in May, as we had originally established. We wish, however, to mark the 15th anniversary of the Center’s existence this September, while also awarding the best students from the past academic year.
The event will take place in special conditions (online), the safety of us all being the most important.
The criteria for awarding the scores for the Student of the Year contest, as in each previous edition, are:
-The score at JLPT 2019 (40%)
-Preparing a paper for the Japanese Presentation Contest 2020 (25%)
-Participation in Summer School 2020 (10%)
-Enrollment in the Cultural Program in Japan 2020 (10%)
-Participation in courses other than Japanese within the Department (Chinese, Korean, Taiko, Tea Ceremony, Dance, Online Courses organized together with partner universities) (10%)
-Volunteering activities at CSRJ-AH (5%)
If you wish to participate in the contest, we ask you to send us the result sheet, scanned (or photo), whether or not you have passed the JLPT exam, until August 31st, 2020.
