Tanabata Matsuri is one of the annual exhibitions of the Bucharest Peony Study Group. The exhibition draws inspiration from the Japanese festival Tanabata (The Star Festival), incorporating traditional elements and symbols typical for this celebration: tanzaku (wish strips), bamboo, origami and the typical colors of the season.
