Yuki Matsuri
Yuki Matsuri (The Snow Festival) is one of the annual exhibitions of the Bucharest Peony Study Group. The main theme of the exhibition is winter, a time of rest in nature, the arrangements encompasing the beauty and profoundenss of the cold and sometimes unnerving season.
Yuki Matsuri 1st edition
-9th of December 2023 at Carturesti Verona-
The first edition of the Yuki Matsuri exhibition premiered under the name „An imaginary journey in Japan”. It was organized by the members of the CSRJ-AH study group. Accompanied by a japanese classical music recital, the arrangements brought the Japanese essance closer to us.
Yuki Matsuri 2nd edition
– 15th-18th of December 2024 at National Museum of the Romanian Peasant –
The first edition of Yuki Matsuri held by the Bucharest Peony Study Group. The arrangements have been crafted with the theme of winter in mind, the participants unleashing their creativity.
Yuki Matsuri 3rd edition
– 17th of January 2026 at R Art by Renaissance Art Gallery –
The second edition of the exhibition organized by the Bucharest Peony Study Group. The arrangements have been designed around the theme of “Yuki no Ma” (雪の間), a concept describing the stillness bewteen two seasons, a frozen moment in which everything seems inert, but life is slowly beginning to resurface.
